Genealogy Roots FAQ
What is Genealogy Roots?
Genealogy Roots is a two-day event designed to help everyone find their family history. What makes this event unique is that it revolves around one stage, where the speakers rotate and attendees can sit back and relax and learn rather than run from class to class every hour. We put an “edu-tainment” spin on it, making learning fun and interactive. We have top international speakers, great genealogy companies displaying the latest services and tools, and big prize giveaways throughout the event.
What is the Senior Expo? And how does Genealogy Roots fit in?
The Senior Expo is all about a healthy active lifestyle for seniors and their families. It’s a chance to see all the latest offerings and get your questions answered (much like a home show.) Genealogy has traditionally been a popular retirement activity but these days, thanks to all of the new online resources, people of all ages can climb their family tree in their spare time. The Senior Expo offers a fun, spacious location for folks of all ages to come learn how to find their family history through the Genealogy Roots training.
Will only Senior citizens be attending?
Absolutely not. Though Senior Expo is geared to the interests of seniors and their families, all ages attend Genealogy Roots. The Senior Expo and Genealogy Roots is a family affair and that includes everyone.
